Windows to the Wild Brings Home New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters’ Granite Mike Award

The New Season is Now Available

(DURHAM, October 18, 2019) –Windows to the Wild won first place for a feature story at the recent 2019 New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters’ Granite Mike Awards for its Hiking For Hunger episode.

In this episode, host Willem Lange joins 25 chefs on a hike to the summit of Mount Major to raise awareness of hunger in the Granite State. New Hampshire Food Bank Executive Director Eileen Groll Liponis and Chef Jayson McCarter recruited local chefs to participate in the Chefs on the Rise program as a way to encourage NH chefs to help reduce food insecurity in their communities.
