SEVENTH ANNUAL PASSPORT CRAFT BEER & FOOD PAIRING TOUR ON TAP SEPTEMBER 19

(PORTSMOUTH, NH, June 24, 2015) – The annual PASSPORT Craft Beer & Food Pairing Tour brings beer enthusiasts and food connoisseurs together for a delicious evening at historic Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth. Held Saturday, September 19th, this year’s event will offer guests an eclectic range of over 20 craft beers specially paired with savory and sweet bites from local restaurants and food purveyors. The event is a benefit for New Hampshire Public Television and Strawbery Banke Museum. Tickets are available at nhptv.org/passport; tickets are limited and PASSPORT sells out. PASSPORT guests stroll the museum's historic grounds while sampling pairings designed to complement and enhance the flavors of the beer and food. Smuttynose Brewing Company and award-winning Seacoast chef Evan Hennessey are coordinating this year’s pairings with the brewers and chefs. Participating PASSPORT breweries to date include: Smuttynose Brewing Company, Portsmouth Brewery, SmuttLabs, Allagash Brewing Company, Brooklyn Brewery, Dogfish Head Brewery, The Flying Goose Brewery, Great Rhythm Brewing Company, Henniker Brewing Company, Martha’s Exchange Brewery, Moat Mountain Brewing Company, North Country Hard Cider Company, Peak Organics Brewing Company, Redhook Brewery, Samuel Adams, 7th Settlement, Shipyard Brewing Company, Stoneface Brewing Company, Tuckerman Brewing Company, White Birch Brewing, and Woodstock Inn Brewery. Participating PASSPORT restaurants and food purveyors to date include: Smuttynose’s Hayseed, Portsmouth Brewery, Stages at One Washington, Flavor Concepts Catering, Applecrest Farm Bistro, Atlantic Grill, Black Birch, Black Trumpet, Blue Mermaid Island Grill, British Beer Company, Burton’s Grille, Calef’s Country Store, Cava, Ceia Kitchen and Bar, The Colonnade Hotel, Demeters Steakhouse, Fig Tree at Strawbery Banke, Franklin Oyster House, Grill 28, Henrys’ Market, Holy Grail Food and Spirits, Julia’s at the Seacoast School of Technology, McKinnon’s Market, Michele’s Totally Awesome Gourmet Popcorn, Mill Eats, Moxy, The 100 Club, Pete and Gerry’s Heirloom Eggs, SALT at Wentworth by the Sea, Ri Ra, 7th Settlement, Vida Cantina, When Pig's Fly, and WHYM Café. Passport Main Event 5 – 7:30 PM. Stroll Strawbery Banke Museum’s grounds while enjoying a savory tour of craft beers from over 20 brewers, perfectly paired with appetizers prepared by local chefs. Learn about beer styles and the cuisines they complement. Guests receive a 2015 PASSPORT glass. Vegetarian selections are available. Tickets for the Passport Main Event are $75, and its designated driver ticket is $30. Diplomat VIP Reception 4 – 7:30 PM. SOLD OUT! A PASSPORT Diplomat VIP ticket includes early admission to the Main Event and entry to the VIP tent where Diplomats can gather and sample exclusive beer and food pairings all evening. Guests receive a 2015 PASSPORT glass. Tickets for the Passport Diplomat VIP are $125, and its designated driver ticket is $50.
