Picture a perfect fall day, not a cloud in the sky and the leaves on the maple trees are shades of orange, red and gold. For one special night in September, local brewers pour their specialty beer, paired with delicious food prepared by some of the area’s most celebrated chefs. A whiff of delicate spices, the strum of a guitar, the laughter of friends drift through the air as you stroll around the historic grounds of Strawbery Banke Museum.
You know you’re in a magical place - PASSPORT: THE CRAFT BEER AND FOOD PAIRING EVENT.
For the past 11 years, New Hampshire PBS and Strawbery Banke Museum have joined forces to put on the most unique beer and food pairing event in the Northeast, and every year we’re so grateful that you all keep coming back. This event has always been a critically important fundraiser for both Strawbery Banke Museum and New Hampshire PBS.
This year is a little different.
Through thoughtful discussions with the PASSPORT team and looking at the difficult landscape facing restaurants and brewers due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve regrettably decided to cancel the 2020 PASSPORT: CRAFT BEER AND FOOD PAIRING EVENT. We want to ensure that our patrons, chefs, brewmasters, volunteers and staff can all stay safe during this uncertain time.
Instead we'd lik to celebrate and show some love to all the restaurants and breweries that have supported us throughout the years.
We hope that next year we’ll be able to raise a glass and celebrate together.
Be well and stay healthy,
The Passport Team
