The third Granite State Challenge quarterfinal game pits the ConVal Regional High Cougars against the reigning Granite State Challenge champs, the Tomahawks of Merrimack High. ConVal Regional High defeated Nashua High South to secure its quarterfinal spot. The school enrolls 737 students from the towns of Antrim, Bennington, Dublin, Francestown, Greenfield, Hancock, Peterborough, Sharon, and Temple. ConVal High played in the first season of Granite State Challenge in 1984. Merrimack High defeated Winnisquam Regional High in their Round One game. The school has an enrollment of 1, 174 students and has more championship titles than any other school. They took home the trophy in 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024. They lost to Portsmouth High in 2022.
