(DURHAM, March 21, 2015 ) - In this week's GRANITE STATE CHALLENGE match, Plymouth Regional High School edged out Hanover High School by a score of 250 to 235. Plymouth trailed by 75 points heading into the final round, but closed the gap when Hanover lost points due to incorrect answers.The Plymouth Bobcats were represented by captain Alexander Browne, Sean Harris, Isaac Lewis, and Andrew Chabot, and were coached by Jay Fogarty. Hanover Marauders were represented by captain Tobias Reynolds, Raj Kane, Ben Chaimberg, and Felix Simon, and were coached by Bill Murphy.

second round of GRANITE STATE CHALLENGE. The popular quiz contest began the season with
16 Granite State high school teams battling toward the coveted SUPERCHALLENGE title. Also, for a third year, there will be a Granite State vs. Bay State Governor's Cup match between the winners of the GRANITE STATE SUPERCHALLENGE and the WGBH Boston High School Quiz Show. Tune in Saturday, March 28 at 6 p.m., when Dover High School and Manchester Central test smarts and savvy, in the next match of GRANITE STATE CHALLENGE.New Hampshire's top high school academic teams demonstrate remarkable teamwork, quick thinking and smarts as they play GRANITE STATE CHALLENGE. The game emphasizes quick recall of math, science, social studies, language arts and fine arts facts – along with questions about current events, entertainment, sports, and New England.
