Bow HS Defeats Stevens HS in Round One Match of Granite State Challenge

– Bow High School Advances to Round Two –

(DURHAM, October 31, 2008) - Bow High School overpowered Stevens High School to claim a key victory on Friday’s Granite State Challenge, defeating Stevens by a score of 240 to 180. Granite State Challenge airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The prevailing Bow Falcons were comprised of seniors Ethan Nappen, Teddy Wyly and Molly Milazzo, sophomore Will Sheffer, and alternates Stephanie Strong and Rachel Gottlieb. They were coached by Michelle Miller. Their opponents, the Stevens Cardinals, included seniors Adam Staszkiewicz, Rachel Eaton, Jesse Hughes and Kayleigh Kangas, as well as alternate Gwen Tetirick. They were coached by Gary Cullison.
