Granite State Challenge

Bishop Guertin Narrowly Defeats Salem

The Cardinals of Bishop Guertin edged out a tough Salem High team in the final Round One game of GRANITE STATE CHALLENGE, winning 430–405.

Bishop Guertin, located in Nashua, New Hampshire, enrolls approximately 800 students and boasts championship titles from 1987 and 2015. Salem High, with about 1,000 students, is no stranger to success either, having claimed championships in 1998, 2002, and 2018.

With the win, Bishop Guertin advances to the quarterfinals, where they will face the Nashua North Titans.

Be sure to tune in to the first quarterfinal matchup on Thursday, April 9, at 8:30 p.m., when the Bedford High Bulldogs take on the Purple Panthers of Nashua High South.
