(DURHAM, May 4, 2022) - Tune in on Saturday, May 7 at 6 pm on NHPBS for the second semifinal game of the 40th season of Granite State Challenge between Londonderry High and Portsmouth High.
Playing for Londonderry are captain and senior Austin Kilgore, and sophomores Nathan Ferrick, Brendon Saranich, and Xander Cogan. The team is coached by Peter Willis. Londonderry High enrolls 1,521 students.
Playing for Portsmouth High are captain and senior Francis Powell, seniors Rio Marcus and Josie Sedam, junior Nick Dahlen, and alternate senior Karina Havaleshko. Portsmouth High is coached by Hannah Dul and enrolls 1,084 students from Rye, Newcastle, Newington, Greenland, and Portsmouth.
The winner of the match will face two-time defending champion Merrimack High in the championship game.
