Bishop Guertin Faces Lin-Wood

Granite State Challenge - Round One

(DURHAM, APRIL 7, 2021) – Tune in to NHPBS Saturday, April 10 at 6:00 pm as the Cardinals of Bishop Guertin High take on the Lin-Wood Lumberjacks in the second game of a new season of Granite State Challenge.

Playing for the Cardinals of Bishop Guertin are Captain Amelia Ballingall, Chris Swanson, Daniel Enright, Ian Winiarski, and alternates Mary Connolly and Jesse Lu. The team is coached by Kathryn Gann. Bishop Guertin High is a private Catholic school located in Nashua, NH.

The Lumberjacks of Lin-Wood High are represented by Captain Seven Fitzgerald, Blake Tower, Sydney Pickering, and Andrew Wilson. The team is coached by Dave Webster. Lin-Wood is a K-12 public school located in Lincoln, NH in Grafton County. It serves the towns of Lincoln and Woodstock and has an enrollment of around 92 high school students.

The winner of the match will move on to the quarterfinals where they will face Manchester Central High.
