Manchester Central Faces Souhegan

Granite State Challenge - Quarterfinals

Tune in to Granite State Challenge Saturday, April 6 at 6:00 pm on NHPBS as Manchester Central High takes on Souhegan High in the second game in the quarterfinals of GRANITE STATE CHALLENGE. Manchester Central defeated Portsmouth Christian Academy and Souhegan High beat Fall Mountain Regional High to secure their spots in the quarterfinals.

Playing for the Manchester Central High Little Green are senior Max Nakos, junior Karishma Manchanda, freshman Kellan Barbee, captain senior Tamsin Weissberg and alternates Jonas Weissberg and Eamonn Ryan. The team is coached by Lorraine Meyette.

The Sabers of Souhegan High are represented by captain junior Alec Reitter, senior Hunter Raudelunas, senior Kate Eastland, senior Patrick Conway and alternates Ian Lewis and Kelly Frasca. The team is coached by Dave Jasinski and Jace Lamarre.

The winner of this quarterfinal game will face Littleton High in the semifinals. 

Granite State Challenge features New Hampshire's top high school academic quiz teams as they demonstrate remarkable teamwork, quick thinking and smarts to beat the clock and buzz in first on this iconic New Hampshire game show. The game emphasizes quick recall of math, science, social studies, language arts, and fine arts facts—along with questions about current events, entertainment, sports and New Hampshire.
