Playing for the Manchester Central Little Green are Kellan Barbee, Karishma Manchanda, Max Nakos, team captain Tamsin Weissberg and alternates Jonas Weissberg and Eamonn Ryan. The team is coached by Lorraine Meyette.
The Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles are represented by captain Emilee Larose, Maggie Joyce, Nick Watson, Hannah Abraham and alternates Maeve Joyce and Hannah Pellerin. The team is coached by Rebekah Shoemaker and Ray Gamble.
The winner of this Round One game will face Souhegan High in a quarterfinal match airing on April 6 @ 6 pm on NHPBS.
Granite State Challenge features New Hampshire's top high school academic quiz teams as they demonstrate remarkable teamwork, quick thinking and smarts to beat the clock and buzz in first on this iconic New Hampshire game show. The game emphasizes quick recall of math, science, social studies, language arts, and fine arts facts—along with questions about current events, entertainment, sports and New Hampshire.
