Con-Val Regional HS Defeats Phillips Exeter Academy in Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, October 7, 2010) – Con-Val Regional High School defeated Phillips Exeter Academy by a score of 325 to 165 last night on Granite State Challenge, advancing the Con-Val team to round two. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online. The successful Con-Val Cougars included seniors Alice Hale, Ethan Beihl, Karissa Vincent, Mara Zrzavy, and junior Will Welch. They were coached by Molly Flower Eppig. Their opponents, the Phillips Exeter Griffins, included seniors In Young Cho and Daniel Yuonathon, juniors Douglas Gordon, Jonathan Cai, Alan Dong, and sophomore Siddhartha Reddy. They were coached by Hunter Farnham. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13 @ 6 p.m. LITTLETON HIGH SCHOOL vs. TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL Tune in each Wednesday night @ 6 p.m. and follow your favorite teams' progress. The popular quiz contest begins with 32 Granite State high school teams battling toward the coveted SuperChallenge title. There are four single-elimination rounds leading to the final contest in April.
