Passport Photos and Logo (PORTSMOUTH, NH, July 15, 2016) – A love of craft beer, delicious food and an evening in beautiful Portsmouth are the draw for the annual PASSPORT Craft Beer & Food Pairing Tour at historic Strawbery Banke Museum.

Held Saturday, September 17th, this year’s event will offer guests an eclectic range of more than 20 craft beers paired with savory and sweet tastes from local restaurants and food purveyors. The PASSPORT event is a benefit for New Hampshire Public Television and Strawbery Banke Museum. Tickets are available at nhptv.org/passport; tickets are limited and PASSPORT sells out early.

PASSPORT guests stroll the museum's historic grounds while sampling pairings designed to complement and enhance the flavors of the beer and food. Award-winning Seacoast chef Evan Hennessey and Smuttynose Brewing Company are coordinating this year’s pairings with the brewers and chefs.

Participating PASSPORT breweries to date include: Smuttynose Brewing Company, Portsmouth Brewery, SmuttLabs, Bad Lab Beer Company, Neighborhood Beer Company, Liars Bench Beer Company, Great North Aleworks, Woodstock Inn Brewery, Allagash Brewing Company, Henniker Brewing Company, Throwback Brewery, 7th Settlement, Great Rhythm Brewing Company, North Country Hard Cider Company, Martha's Exchange Brewing Company, The Flying Goose and many more still to be added. Participating PASSPORT restaurants and food purveyors to date include: Smuttynose’s Hayseed, Portsmouth Brewery, Stages at One Washington, Moxy, Otis, Shain’s of Maine Ice Cream, 45 Market Street Bakery and Café, Cava, Laney & Lu Cafe, Earth's Harvest Kitchen & Juicery, The Foundry, Black Trumpet, Carol’s Pasture Raised Organic Eggs, Michele’s Totally Awesome Popcorn, Calef’s Country Store, Franklin Oyster House, Beach Pea Baking Company, WHYM Cafe, Blue Mermaid Island Grill, Robert's Maine Grill, Row 34, Tuscan Kitchen, British Beer Company, Grill 28, Joinery, Tinos Greek Kitchen, McKinnon's, When Pigs Fly, Sonny's Tavern, 100 Club, Throwback Brewery and 7th Settlement. Passport Main Event 5 – 7:30 PM. Stroll Strawbery Banke Museum’s grounds while enjoying a savory tour of craft beers from over 20 brewers, paired with appetizers prepared by local chefs.

Learn about beer styles and the cuisines they complement. Guests receive a 2016 PASSPORT glass. Vegetarian selections are available. Tickets: Passport Main Event $75, designated driver ticket $30. Diplomat VIP Reception 4 – 7:30 PM. SOLD OUT! A PASSPORT Diplomat VIP ticket includes early admission to the Main Event and entry to the VIP tent where Diplomats can gather and sample exclusive beer and food pairings all evening.
