In episode 2, Jerry shows his viewers how to paint in the very distant trees using the #4 script brush. Then shows how to apply the distant leaves using the #4 and #6 bristle brushes. He now shows how to dry-brush in the fog/mist and how to apply the middle-ground trees, brush, and grasses. He then shows how to work in the foreground bushes, pond, and grasses. Then finishes by showing how to paint in the large foreground trees on the right side.
