Granite State Challenge - Super Sunday Qualifying Event

New Hampshire High School Teams Compete for 1 of Just 16 Coveted Spots

 (DURHAM, September 12, 2017) —  New Hampshire high school academic teams are invited to compete for one of 16 spots on the upcoming season of New Hampshire Public Television's long-running high school quiz show, Granite State Challenge, at the SUPER SUNDAY qualifying event at Manchester Community College on Sunday, November 19, 2017.  

High school teams made up of up to six students will take a 100-question written test as a team. The test covers everything from physics to pop culture!   The 14 highest scoring teams will have a guaranteed spot on Granite State Challenge.  Four wild card teams will also be selected from participation schools and those school will meet in two non-televised matches at NH Public Television. The two winning teams will secure the final two spots for the upcoming season, which will premiere in early 2018. Teams can learn more and register here: nhptv.org/gsc
