  • 1981 - Iran releases 52 American hostages 20 minutes after Ronald Regan becomes president.
  • 2008 -  Barack Obama is inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States of America, becoming the first Black President of the United States.
  • 2017 -  Donald Trump is inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States of America.
