Today is Endangered Species Day, International Day of Families, National Chocolate Chip Day, and National Pizza Party Day. The Supreme Court ordered the breakup of the Standard Oil Company on this date in 1911. Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum was born on this date in 1856.
