Hollis-Brookline Advances to Semifinals of Granite State Challenge

2025 TEAMS

(DURHAM, March 27, 2009) – Hollis-Brookline High School continued their season-long domination, defeating Pelham High School by a score of 340 to 70 on Friday's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The unwavering Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers included seniors Patrick McDaniel, Dylan King, Dan Michon, junior Joe Perricone and alternates Caroline Quaglieri and Trevor Nierendorf. They were coached by Chris Cieto. Their opponents, the Pelham Pythons, included seniors Dustin Cooper and Jaime Newell, junior Alexander Maal, sophomore Michael Chadwick and alternates Christine Morgan and Olivia Echteler. They were coached by Roger Lyder. Hollis-Brookline High School will face Fall Mountain Regional High School in the second semifinal match on April 10 @ 6 p.m. Tune in Friday, 4/3 @ 6 p.m. for the first Granite State Challenge semifinal match: Phillips Exeter Academy vs. Portsmouth Christian Academy
