Fall Mountain Regional High School Advances to Semifinals of Granite State Challenge

2025 TEAMS

(DURHAM, March 20, 2009) – Fall Mountain Regional High School took the early lead and never looked back, as they went on to defeat Portsmouth High School by a score of 250 to 140 on Friday's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The conquering Fall Mountain Wildcats included seniors Nathaniel Locke and William Carmody, juniors Lindsay Sanchez-Navaro and Kirk Grimsley and alternates Quinn Prentiss-Sturgill and Welcome Frye. They were coached by Nick Belsky. Their opponents, the Portsmouth Clippers, included juniors Elizabeth Harvey, Garrett Rose, Linnea Kaye, Max Esposito and alternates Andrew Harvey and Erin Hayes. They were coached by Hannah Dul and Brendan Harrington. Fall Mountain High School will face the winner of the Hollis-Brookline High School vs. Pelham High School match on March 27 @ 6 p.m. Tune in Friday, 3/27 @ 6 p.m. for the next match-up on Granite State Challenge: Hollis-Brookline High School vs. Pelham High School
