Moultonborough Academy Advances to Round Two of Granite State Challenge

Defeats New Hampton 210 - 180

(DURHAM, November 14, 2008) – Moultonborough Academy overcame New Hampton School for the win on Friday’s Granite State Challenge, defeating New Hampton by a score of 210 to 180. Granite State Challenge airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The triumphant Moultonborough Panthers were comprised of seniors Kelsey Marsh and Beatrice Dunnavan, juniors Josiah Weeks and Joe Delaney, and alternate Sarah Ames. They were coached by Sally Sibulkin and Andrew Coppinger. Their opponents, the New Hampton Huskies, included senior David Miller, juniors Tyler Raphael and Alex Kent, sophomore Brian Alexander, with alternates Mack Willingham and Jeremy Wolff. They were coached by Peter Miller and Granite State Challenge alum, Justin Freeman.
