The Derryfield School Advances to Finals

2025 TEAMS

(DURHAM, May 7, 2007) — The Derryfield School will compete in the 2007 Granite State Challenge SuperChallenge finale on New Hampshire Public Television. The Derryfield School narrowly defeated Hollis/Brookline High School in the semi-finals by a score of 240 to 230. New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge airs Thursdays @ 7:30 p.m., and again on Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. The Granite State SuperChallenge will air on May 31 @ 8 p.m. The victorious Derryfield Cougars included seniors Doug Lindner and Kyle DeNoble, junior Allison Fink, and sophomore Fritz Manson. They were coached by Dennis Holland. The Hollis/Brookline Cavaliers included seniors Henry Cone-Roddy and Trevor Buteau, and juniors James Sterritt and Eamon Fogarty. They were coached by John Kittredge and Deb Kissel. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Semi-Finals Continue: Thurs., 5/17 @ 7:30 p.m. Hanover High School vs. Londonderry High School -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thirty-two Granite State high school teams began battling toward the coveted SuperChallenge title in September. There are four single-elimination rounds leading to the final contest in May.
