Lin-Wood Public High School Defeats Pittsburg High School in Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, October 11, 2007) - Lin-Wood Public High School defeated Pittsburg High School by a score of 255 to 130 to advance to Round Two of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. Granite State Challenge airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and re-airs Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. The victorious Lin-Wood Lumberjacks were comprised of seniors Dalton Bentley, Rachel Tamulonis, Justin Goslant, Alex Atwood, alternates Corbin Bourassa and Timothy Englert, and coaches David Webster Jr. and Mike Weaver. The Pittsburg Panthers team included senior Brian Dixon, sophomore Marcus Chase, freshmen Matthew Ormsbee and Matthew Jeralds, and alternates Travis Rioux and Evan Kelsea; they were coached by Tammy Jeralds and Sheli Judd.
