New Hampshire (Salem High) Meets Massachusetts (Andover High) in Championship Game

(DURHAM, May 23, 2018) – Tune in to NHPBS Saturday, ­­­­May 26 at 6 pm as New Hampshire's Salem High,  the 2018 Granite State Champions, meets Andover High, winner of WGBH's High School Quiz Show  in the first annual High School Quiz Show Invitational.

New Hampshire defeated Bangor High,  the winner of High School Quiz Show: Maine, and Andover High defeated Barrington High, the winner of  High School Quiz Show: Rhode Island to make it to the final game.  

Playing for Salem High are captain Tony Consentino, Aidan Gallo, Jonathan Tarness, and Ricky Jeffreys, with alternates Alexis Ahern and Oba Oseghali. The Blue Devils are coached by Bernie Campbell.

Granite State Challenge is funded by lead sponsor Unitil; with additional funding from NEA New Hampshire, Heinemann Publishing, New Hampshire Lottery, D.F. Richard Energy, HRC, Measured Progress, The NHHEAF Network Organization and Super Sunday partner, Manchester Community College.
