Gorham Middle HS Advances to Round Two of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, December 2, 2010) – It was a hard-fought match, but Gorham Middle High School came out on top defeating Moultonborough Academy by a score of 270 to 180 on last night's Granite State Challenge. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online. The successful Gorham Huskies included senior Chris Turgeon, juniors Dan Temme, Ryan Mayers, Kyle Fortin, and sophomores Maggie Currier and Tyler Binette. They were coached by Peter Gagnon. Their opponents, the Moultonborough Panthers, included senior Caitlin O'Hara, juniors Kyle Fisk and Cameron McInnes, and sophomores Jerrica Davy, Courtney Delaney and Sarah Tgibedes. They were coached by Vickie Johnson and Diane Beaman.
