Coe-Brown Northwood Academy Advances to Quarterfinals of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, February 18, 2010) – Coe-Brown Northwood Academy proved their mettle on Wednesday's Granite State Challenge, defeating Brewster Academy by a score of 205 to 160. The win secured Coe-Brown Northwood Academy's place in the quarterfinals. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online. The victorious Coe–Brown Bears included seniors Michelle Fioccoprile and Justin Loy, juniors Nick Sylvester and Anthony Craven and alternates Jacanna Sourisak and Mark Davis. They were coached by Lorraine Drake. Their opponents, the Brewster Bobcats, included senior Sean McCollum, junior Franklin Holcomb, sophomores Daniel Lopez and Zach Baum and alternates Marlowe Appe and Riley Merritt. They were coached by Charlie Hossack and Bret Barnett.
