Hollis-Brookline High School Advances to Quarterfinals of Granite State Challenge

2025 TEAMS

(DURHAM, February 27, 2009) – Hollis-Brookline High School flexed its mental muscles on NHPTV's Granite State Challenge, defeating Manchester Memorial High School by a score of 300 to 200. Granite State Challenge airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The victorious Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers included seniors Patrick McDaniel, Dylan King, and Dan Michon, junior Joe Perricone, and alternates Caroline Quaglieri and Trevor Nierendorf. They were coached by Chris Cieto. Their opponents, the Manchester Memorial Crusaders, included seniors Monica Stewart, Lily Foss, Robbie DesRoche, John Luzarz and alternate Melanie Laberge. They were coached by Timothy Otis. Hollis-Brookline High School will face Pelham High School in the quarterfinals on March 27th @ 6 p.m. Tune in Friday, 3/6 @ 6 p.m. for the next match-up on Granite State Challenge: Merrimack High School vs. Portsmouth Christian Academy
