Pelham High School Advances to Quarterfinals of Granite State Challenge

2025 TEAMS

(DURHAM, February 20, 2009) – Pelham High School defeated Lisbon Regional High School by a score of 205 to 120 on Friday's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The triumphant Pelham Pythons included seniors Dustin Cooper and Jaime Newell, junior Alexander Maal, sophomore Michael Chadwick and alternates Christine Morgan and Olivia Echteier. They were coached by Roger Lyder. Their opponents, the Lisbon Panthers, included seniors Hale Fitzgerald, Ella Nilsen, and Jackie Loughran, sophomore Samantha Locke and alternate Eliza Morrison. They were coached by Pauline Corzilius. Pelham High School will face the winner of next week's match between Hollis-Brookline High School and Manchester Memorial High School.
