Portsmouth High School Advances to Round Two of Granite State Challenge

Portsmouth High School Defeats Pembroke Academy

(DURHAM, December 5, 2008) – The Portsmouth High School Clippers sailed past Pembroke Academy on Friday's Granite State Challenge, defeating the Spartans by a score of 225 to 165. Granite State Challenge airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The conquering Portsmouth Clipper Ships were comprised of juniors Elizabeth Harvey, Garrett Rose, Linnea Kaye, and Max Esposito, and alternates Andrew Harvey and Erin Hayes. They were coached by Hannah Dul and Brendan Harrington. Their opponents, the Pembroke Academy Spartans, included seniors Lindsay Crete, Stephanie Jones, Stephanie Allen, and John Nardini, with alternates Neil Innarelli and John Natalizio.
