Stratford Public Advances to Round Two of Granite State Challenge

Bring It On!

(DURHAM, October 24, 2008) – Stratford Public School prevailed over Laconia Christian School by a score of 165 to 115 on Friday's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. The victorious Stratford Lions team included juniors Meghan Hakey, Amilia Thebarge, Caleb Mason, and Nichole Orlacchio, and alternate Chelsea Bishop. They were coached by Marie P. Hughes. Their opponents, the Laconia Christian Crusaders, included senior Matthew Farah, juniors Mark Farah and Ethan Goddard, freshman Alek Duba, and alternate Steven Samuels. They were coached by Scott Farah. Tune in Friday, 10/31 @ 6 p.m. for the next match-up on Granite State Challenge: Bow High School vs. Stevens High School
