Bishop Brady High School Defeats Nashua High School South in Round Two of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, February 14, 2008) - The answer to one question decided the winner of last night's Granite State Challenge match, as Bishop Brady High School claimed a narrow victory over Nashua High School South by a score of 200 to 195, advancing them to the quarterfinals. The series airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and re-airs Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on NHPTV. The victorious Bishop Brady Giants were comprised of seniors Tara Fitzgerald, Johnny Bassett and Noah Mellen, junior Janet Moffatt, alternates Jenn Parsons and Thomas Hayes, and coaches Jim Miller and Steve Woodward. The Nashua Panthers team included juniors Jonathan Blotchky, Julie Rahilly, Alexander Chen, Mayesha Quasem, and alternate Alex H. They were coached by Neil Claffey and Catherine E. Poulin.
