Bishop Guertin Faces Exeter

Granite State Challenge - Round One

(DURHAM, March 18, 2020) –Tune in to NHPBS Saturday, March 21 at 6:00 pm as the Cardinals of Bishop Guertin High meet the Blue Hawks of Exeter High in the first round of Granite State Challenge.

The Bishop Guertin Cardinals are represented by captain Jack Groeneveld-Meijer, Isabella Wang, Amelia Ballingall, Daniel Enright, and alternates Bree Cooley and Geoffrey Zhang. The team is coached by Kathryn Gann. Bishop Guertin High is located in Nashua and has an enrollment of around 807 students.

Playing for the Exeter High School Blue Hawks are captain Andrew McElroy, Sophia Rubens, Noah Robinson, Barrett Su, and alternates Summer Young and Sonia Russell. The team is coached by Aaron Blais. Exeter High enrolls around 1,685 students and serves the towns of Exeter, Stratham, Kensington, Newfields, Brentwood, and East Kingston.

The winner of the match will face either Bow High School of Fall Mountain Regional High in the quarterfinals.

Granite State Challenge games were pre-recorded in January.
