In 2003, Martinez was serving in Iraq, driving a Humvee, when he hit an IED and was burned on more than 34% of his body. Thirty-three surgeries later, Martinez turned his tragic story into one of painful lessons learned and inspiration for millions of others. An actor and motivational speaker, J.R. travels the country sharing his journey and why he works so hard to advocate for burn victims. He is a passionate supporter of "Operation Finally Home," an organization that builds homes for veterans and allows them to live mortgage-free. Over the flavors of his favorite Austin haunt, Pieous, J.R. shares his tale of transforming a setback into a setup for an entirely different kind of success.

TO DINE FOR WITH KATE SULLIVAN uses this very question as a foundation for a conversation with an array of bright and innovative minds.

In this new series, four-time Emmy Award-winning journalist Kate Sullivan accompanies 10 different guests to their favorite restaurants.

They experience the atmosphere, the location, the ambience, and eat what they love.

Over dinner, Kate's guests - entrepreneurs, change agents, musicians, actors, newsmakers and others - discuss their early lives, their struggles, their successes, the American dream, and how they have tried to achieve it.

This season, Kate travels to Seattle to meet with Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks.

While there they dine at Mamnoon, a Middle Eastern restaurant known for flavors so good "they'll make you cry." Then, she flies to Chicago to visit with Nike designer Jason Mayden, who grew up on the South Side of the city.

Jason takes her to Giordano's Deep Dish pizza to tell her why he loves Chicago, and how it fueled his imagination and dreams.
