It also examines the challenges and successes along the way. Garth Fagan's Tony Award-winning choreography was launched into the spotlight in Julie Taymor's 1997 Broadway production of The Lion King. The documentary explores what that incredible time meant to the choreographer and his close collaborators. Featuring archival rehearsal videos, performances, and interviews shot throughout the last 50 years, the film showcases the evolution of a master and the company of dancers who helped to make his vision a reality.
