The town of Ely is experiencing a revitalization and the newest attraction is a world class mountain disc golf course. John plays a round with a local and a pro while learning about what's to come. Then, just outside of Ely is a piece of living history, The Pony Express. This legendary form of mail delivery lives on as local cowboys re-ride the actual route. John experiences the re-ride first hand and becomes an honorary Pony Express Rider. On Route 50, the loneliest highway in America, John takes on the Middlegate Monster, a 15 pound burger challenge and meets its creator.
