Open Studio visits the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, MA, where a new exhibition explores the ravages of the opioid crisis. "Human Impact: Stories of the Opioid Epidemic" showcases the work of 11 craft-based artists depicting the consequences of the crisis through the lens of its victims. In studio, Jared is joined by director Courtney O'Connor and actor Karen MacDonald of The Cake, a play running at The Lyric Stage Company of Boston in Copley Square. The show deals with the decision of a traditional Southern baker who is asked to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding. Then, revisit Ancient Nubia Now at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts - an exhibit exploring the history of Nubia and the evolving narratives that have reshaped its history. Plus, a profile of artist David Hinchen, who finds inspiration in historic American houses in New England and beyond.
