This episode brings Music Voyager host Jacob Edgar to Denver, Colorado on his three-episode journey to learn more about this year's Grammy nominees, Road to a GRAMMY. Jacob meet with banjo virtuoso and multiple GRAMMY nominee Bela Fleck, then visits the workshop where the GRAMMY statuettes are lovingly hand-crafted. He follows Bela Fleck from a banjo master class to a concert at one of Denver's top venues. On the tour bus, Fleck divulges the fascinating story of his banjo obsession and his acclaimed film and album Throw Down Your Heart, which documents Flecks musical adventures in Africa. Fleck treats viewers to a moving unplugged rendition of the title track. Then, Jacob Edgar explores the lifestyle of the Denver area, from the nearby ski resorts, to local record stores, Country & Western dance clubs and more. Jacob gets a mouthful of Rocky Mountain Oysters and has his hide tanned by a mechanical bull on this entertaining journey to the Mile High City.

Edgar - an ethnomusicologist, cultural musician and music critic - travels all over the world to hear cutting-edge musicians and immerse himself in their cultures.
In the series' first episode, Edgar ventures to Mumbai, Delhi to create a hit Bollywood song with vocalist Sona Mohapatra and meet Kailash Kher, one of India's most prolific performers, producers and musical stars.
Kher also brings the members of his hit band Kalisa into the studio for a private, intimate performance with Edgar.
Other episodes include journeys to Jamaica, New Orleans, New York and Chicago.
