When actor Chadwick Boseman and most recently Gregg Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta died of colon cancer, their deaths put a spotlight on the disease for not only the rate of deaths among people of color but also as one of the diseases that is treatable if caught early. The program discussion will talk about various cancers but also conditions like diabetes, eye health, mental health and the importance of not only prevention and seeing your doctor but the mitigating factors such as fear, funds, and trust among communities of color.
