NHPTV Spring Auction Bidding Gets Underway May 6

(Durham, April 11, 2005) – Bidding gets underway at the 32nd New Hampshire Public Television Spring Auction Friday, May 6 at 6 p.m., and continues live nightly through Saturday, May 14 on New Hampshire Public Television. Each night will feature new items – from a new car to exciting trips to a wide range of goods and services – up for bid by viewers.Every donation and bid help New Hampshire Public Television provide programs and services to more than 500,000 Northern New England households each week.Bidding has already begun on Superboard donations valued at $1,000 or more—these can be previewed at www.nhptv.org/auction. An all-new, 2005 Toyota Sienna CE is a featured item. Providing comfort, convenience and safety, the Sienna received the highest crash test rating by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. With seating for seven, a 5-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel anti-lock brake system, the Sienna is a first-rate family ride. Donated by Your New England Toyota Dealer, the Sienna CE is valued at $24,260.Also available for online bidding are exciting trips with longtime NHPTV Auction partner American Airlines.
