PBS’s "Clifford the Big Red Dog" to Appear in Dover Friday

DURHAM, MAY 19, 2005) – Clifford, The Big Red Dog will visit with children at the Dover Public Library Friday, June 3 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Children are invited to the library to meet the PBS Kids character and hear Clifford stories read aloud, make Clifford ears and enjoy other activities. The library is located at 73 Locust Street in Dover.Clifford, the friendly, big-hearted dog and his pals (both canine and human) play and interact with each other and the inhabitants of Birdwell Island, learning that good friends are what life is all about. Clifford airs on NHPTV Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday @ 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and with Clifford’s Puppy Days on Wednesdays @ 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Clifford will travel to NHPTV Family Day at StoryLand in Glen, NH, on Saturday, June 4. The Big Red Dog will greet guests and pose for pictures with children. Kids will have one more opportunity to meet Clifford when he’s in New Hampshire the weekend of June 3-5. He’ll appear at the New Hampshire Fisher Cats baseball game in Manchester on Sunday, June 4.
