Windows to the Wild Premieres January 1st @ 7 p.m.

(DURHAM, December 30, 2005) - When was the last time you watched the sun rise over a fog-shrouded lake? Or sat atop a mountain peak, taking in the sights and sounds of the surrounding wilderness? While most of us love the natural world, we don't seem to have enough time or the opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy nature’s beauty as it unfolds. That's about to change. New Hampshire Public Television’s innovative Windows to the Wild series debuts Sunday, January 1st @ 7 p.m., offering unscripted, in-the-moment views of New Hampshire’s special "beauty spots." Viewers get a real-time experience of being in a natural setting as the camera records the sights and sounds of scenic locations across the Granite State. Beginning January 5th, Windows to the Wild will air Thursdays @ 9:30 p.m. In the first four episodes, Windows to the Wild captures early morning activity at Hampton Beach; records fall foliage scenes on Mount Kearsage; watches a sunrise break over Lake Umbagog; and reveals the spectacular sights and sounds of Blue Job Mountain.
