(DURHAM, May 18, 2006) - Mr. McFeely, from the noted PBS program, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, will be making a special “speedy delivery” to Manchester on Friday, June 2nd. Mr. McFeely (David Newell), who runs the “Speedy Delivery Messenger Service” in Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, will read stories, sign autographs, and perform around Manchester in three locations on June 2nd. Children and their families are invited to the following Manchester locations to meet the popular PBS character:Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth, Manchester, from 9:30 -10:30 a.m.; Hampshire Plaza, 1000 Elm Street, from noon -1 p.m. (with a free drawing for a Family Fun Pack to Story Land); and Manchester Public Library Auditorium, from 3 - 4 p.m. On Saturday, June 3rd, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., enjoy a fun day at Story Land in Glen, NH, where you can meet Mr. McFeely and support New Hampshire Public Television! At NHPTV Family Day at Story Land, Mr.McFeely will greet guests, pose for pictures, and perform a puppet show with some of your favorite characters from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.Admission to the park during NHPTV Family Day at Story Land will be reduced to $17 per person. Children up to age 3 are admitted for free. Admission includes unlimited rides on 20 themed amusement rides, live shows, unique play areas, live storybook characters, and more.
