NH Outlook Features Healthy Eating Choices

DURHAM, November 9, 2006) — What is a serving size? Is 10% total carbohydrate a lot? How much calcium does an adult need? NH Outlook takes a trip to the grocery store with a nutritionist and learns how to decipher food labels.Featured on the program is a family from Epping whose six-year-old son was diagnosed with liver problems due to obesity. Working with a nutritionist from the Dartmouth-Hitchcock clinic in Manchester, the family made dietary changes that improved their overall health, especially that of their young son.
