Oyster River High School Defeats Coe-Brown Northwood Academy in Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, December 27, 2007) - Oyster River High School triumphed over Coe-Brown Northwood Academy by a score of 210 to 160, advancing them to round two of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and re-airs Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on NHPTV. The winning Oyster River Bobcats team consisted of senior Joshua Handelsman, juniors Adam Mistretta and Gabriel Dorfsman-Hopkins, sophomore Alexe Taylor, alternates Michael Noronha and Caleigh MacPherson, and coach Susan Smith. The Coe-Brown Bears included seniors Tyler Patrick, Gabriel Carling and Charley McGowen, sophomore Justin Loy, and alternates Meghan Bousquet and Jessica Goudreault; they were coached by Lorraine Drake. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tune in Wednesday, 1/2 @ 7:30 p.m. to watch John Stark Regional High School vs. Kingswood Regional High School --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tune in each Wednesday night @ 7:30 p.m. to follow your favorite teams and track their progress.
