Nashua High School South Defeats Manchester High School Central in Granite State Challenge

– High School Quiz Competition Available on NHPTV, Video Podcast, and YouTube –

(DURHAM, November 8, 2007) - Nashua High School South defeated Manchester High School Central in an exciting match that ended with a score of 170 to 140. The win secures Nashua South a spot in Round Two of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. Granite State Challenge airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and re-airs Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on NHPTV. The triumphant Nashua Panthers team consisted of juniors Jonathan Blotchky, Julie Rahilly, Alexander Chen and Mayesha Quasem, and coaches Neil Claffey and Catherine E. Poulin. The Manchester Little Greens included seniors Sarah Topol, David Casinghino, Marlee Bruning, Robert Lade, and alternates Bridget Harris and Andrew Pazdon; they were coached by Sean Russell and Mike Hennessy.
