Calvary Christian High School Defeats Newmarket High School in Round Two of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, February 21, 2008) - Calvary Christian High School defeated Newmarket High School by a score of 150 to 130, advancing them to the quarterfinals of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and re-airs Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on NHPTV. The winning Calvary Eagles team was comprised of seniors Nathan Pritchett, Wayne Charrette, Ryan Stemmler, Adam DiPippo, alternates Nick Mavrelion and Josh Hutchings, and coach Karen Hess. The Newmarket Mules team were made up of seniors Terri Shamis, Minta Carlson, Sean Fessenden, Robyn St. Laurent, and alternates Justin Lang and Taj Phimansone.
