NH Outlook and Windows to the Wild Cited for Excellence
(DURHAM, March 27, 2008) — New Hampshire Public Television recently received nine silver and bronze Telly awards for excellence in non-network television programming. NH Outlook, NHPTV’s public affairs program, received six Telly awards, including a silver first place award; Windows to the Wild received three bronze Tellys; and “Autumn’s Passage,” an NHPTV special presentation, also received a first place Telly.NHPTV received the following awards:• NH Outlook: The War (War Brothers; Shipyard; Wright Museum) – Silver Telly (Cultural)A two-part program featuring World War Two stories from New Hampshire's own communities. The highly respected national competition recognizes outstanding non-network TV programming, as well as film and video productions. Entries do not compete against one another, but are judged on their own merit by production professionals. Previous winners include the History Channel, A&E, PBS, Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, Walt Disney Studios, Miramax Films, National Geographic, and Time Life Video.
