(DURHAM, December 18, 2008) – Dawn DeAngelis, executive producer of New Hampshire Public Television’s weekly public affairs program NH OUTLOOK, was recently named Chief Content Officer for the station. DeAngelis will oversee the station’s broadcast, web and educational engagement initiatives.For the past eight years, DeAngelis has been the executive producer of NH OUTLOOK. She also has produced series that have crossed over to the web, classroom and community organizations, including Seeing Seniors, Outlook on Money, and LiveFIT NH. DeAngelis was instrumental in developing web and broadcast content for the NH Votes series of election specials, profiles and debates.“In a time of great change and opportunity, we need a content leader who knows our region,” said Peter A. Frid, President and CEO of New Hampshire Public Television. “Dawn possesses the insight and ability to position our two core strengths – content and technology – to viewers and our communities.” Before joining NHPTV, DeAngelis lived and worked in the San Francisco-Bay Area, where she spent 20 years producing television news programs for ABC and CBS affiliate stations. Along with supervising the daily production of live newscasts, she managed coverage of special events such as elections, earthquakes, and wildfire and flood coverage.
