10-Night Auction Raises Funds for NHPTV’s Programs and Services

(DURHAM, April 28, 2009) – The award-winning 36th Annual New Hampshire Public Television Spring Auction begins Friday, May 1st at 6 p.m., and live Auction-mania and bidding continue nightly through Sunday, May 10th! Since 1974, this event has been an annual rite of spring for viewers and volunteers alike, a unique celebration of New Hampshire businesses, artisans and community spirit that helps raise funds for NHPTV’s programs and its educational and community initiatives. Each night features special guest auctioneers such as U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, NH Speaker of the House Terie Norelli, NECN News anchor Mike Nikitas, WMUR Meteorologist Josh Judge, Roadside Stories host Bob Wilson, and WCSH 6 Portland News Center anchorman Pat Callaghan.
