Londonderry Advances to Semifinals on Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, April 1, 2010) – Londonderry High School triumphed on Wednesday's Granite State Challenge, defeating Oyster River High School by a score of 230 to 215. The fifteen-point win secured Londonderry High School the final spot in the semifinals. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online.The prevailing Londonderry Lancers included seniors Michael Darcy, Mark Cwalinski, Jessica Fang, Stephen Bowen and alternates Wesley Axtell and Stephen Peters. They were coached by James Choquette. Their opponents, the Oyster River Bobcats, included seniors Alexe Taylor and Gordon Fenn, juniors Gubby Noronha and Ryan Horton and alternates Chandler Hull and Hannah Nelson.
