Oyster River High School Advances to Quarterfinals of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, February 25, 2010) – Oyster River High School pushed their brains to the brink on Wednesday's Granite State Challenge, defeating Nute High School by a score of 240 to 150. The win secured Oyster River High School's place in the quarterfinals. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online.The winning Oyster River Bobcats included seniors Alexe Taylor and Gordon Fenn, juniors Gubby Noronha and Ryan Horton and alternates Chandler Hull and Hannah Nelson. They were coached by John Monahan. Their opponents, the Nute Rams, included seniors Uriah Brown, John Gray and Sean Barth, junior Jocie Estevao and alternates Jake Plaisted and Ryan Burnett.
